I'm an artist and designer committed to visualizing our sustainable, beautiful future.

I currently consult with the US Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office (LPO), which is at the forefront of the most ambitious climate and environmental justice agenda in history. I create an array of print and digital materials to promote our programs and the high-impact energy projects we finance. I also lead branding and visual design for the annual Demonstrate Deploy Decarbonize conference, managing creative production of all our digital, print, and environmental graphics.
With a background in nonprofit business development and communications, I’ve written about urban planning and design, climate resilience and adaptation, and domestic violence. I'm also a lifelong multimedia artist, constantly fascinated by the textures and forms found in the natural world - a product of my upbringing in the gorgeous Dartmoor National Park in southwest England. Watercolor was my first love but nowadays I’m also really enjoying monotype and linocut printmaking!
I love the process of teasing out an unexpected yet intuitive aesthetic that captures what it feels like to do the work you do. And my belief in the importance of that grows every day. Where words too often divide and exclude, visual design helps us truly see and understand one another. It creates shared worlds, shared vision, and shared delight.
