Other Gods

I had the immense pleasure of illustrating Other Gods, a collection of delightfully bizarre poems by Julia Newton. Subjects include ominous insects, pears, cave paintings, and a rat with a deep passion for pressboard. We had a hoot working on these together and making sure the animals had just the right expressions and body language. I like to think I can now spot a psychopathic lizard from a mile off.
